Scout Cuomo is a celebrated multidisciplinary studio artist based in Greenfield, Massachusetts. A Texas native and Smith College graduate, Cuomo has built a thriving, independent international practice over fifteen years, selling more than 3,000 original works worldwide.
Her paintings seamlessly blend impressionism with abstract expressionism, heavily exploring the relationship between the human figure, water, and the natural world. Cuomo is best known for her innovative technical process, embedding rich pigments between four to thirty translucent layers of cured polymer resin on lucite or glass to build light-refracting, three-dimensional depth.
